#495 | Revealed: video footage of Greek army training to supress demonstrations

The video below is a filming of a military exercise of the Greek army in barracks of Northern Greece. The exercise, called “Kallimahos” [lit. 'fighting well'] included training on… suppressing civilian demonstrations. At approximately 2’50” into the video (the embedded video below links directly at that time), “demonstrators” chanting “we want peace” (in English) and holding peace banners are confronted riot police, vehicles and even with dogs (never used in demonstrations in the country so far).
